New Year – New Photoshop/Post Production Skills

Post Production, or image editing is an essential part of any photographers skillset. Frustrating, infuriating, are a few words we often hear from people describing their relationship with editing. We want to help you to take that frustration away, and in our upcoming courses, we aim to help you bring your skills to the next level. Click Here for Photoshop Advanced.. Click Here for Luminosity Masks .. Click Here for Lightroom Level 1 .. These courses are very much geared towards people who already have a solid foundation (except Lightroom Level 1 is for beginners). Hence we class both courses as suited to intermediate/advanced level participants. Peter will not be holding anything back sharing his full wealth of knowledge. It’s a great chance to think about things a little bit differently, get inspired, and take some big leaps forward in your journey to perfect image editing. Check out some examples below ..

Amazing Dublin Sunrise

I left my house this morning with a good friend and fellow photographer at 7.15 heading for Sandymount Strand. Role on 7.30 and the intended coffee stop was cut immediately short when we saw the sky to the east. It was an hour and ten minutes still to sunrise but the sky was already on fire. Just extraordinary scenes. We teach a lot about reading forecasts in our workshops and the planning really paid off this morning. We shot furiously for over an hour looking out to Poolbeg and back across to DunLaoghaire. Amazing clouds and colour, perfect stillness and the tide in just the right place.  Hope you enjoy the images below. My enthusiasm may have got the better of me in the last video which was live on our Facebook page. :) Fine Art Prints Dublin Here - Vouchers for Christmas Available Workshops Here - Vouchers for Christmas Available   [caption id="attachment_6025" align="alignnone" width="1200"] 7:28am Sandymount. Iceland November 17 Trip Report

We have been running photography workshops in Iceland for many years but it just never gets old. Every trip is different. New conditions, changing light, more ice, less ice. Different tides .. etc, etc, etc .. I think this is why so many of our workshop participants come back and take another trip with us to Iceland. Janet, Paul and Rodney had all been to Iceland with us already but still felt the place has so much to offer they we’re back for more. For me it was my third trip to Iceland in 2017. Every visit with a unique character. The locations as featured below, focused on the Snaelfellsness and Reykjanes peninsulas. A short workshop that lasted from Thursday afternoon until Monday morning, we still managed to pack in all day shooting, plus some late night jaunts out to try and capture the elusive aurora. All in all we got some great conditions, laughed a lot, and came home with tonnes of new images. COME WITH US FOR THE SAME TRIP IN FEB (ONLY 2 PLACES LEFT)
