Montenegro Photo Tour Information

Join us in October 2019 on our Montenegro photo tour. We will guide you to some of Europe’s most beautiful and undiscovered landscape. Montenegro has stunning mountains, lakes, forests and gorges. Much of this amazing landscape is largely unphotographed in any serious way so it’s a great opportunity to create something a little bit different. The gorges stretch for kilometers, filled with beautiful deciduous forestry and anchored by hugely impressive 2500 meter peaks. The rivers and glacial lakes are beautifully green and turquoise. We will schedule our Montenegro photography tour for autumn colour to maximize your photographic opportunities.

We have gone to great lengths to scout locations and now we are willing to share the fruits of our labour. Zabljak, our 4-star hotel base, is on the doorstep of all this amazing scenery. From here you will be brought by 4 x 4 each day on a Jeep Safari into hand-picked stunning locations. All you need to do is turn up at the airport with your camera gear and let us do the rest.

Logistics and Our Input

Our Montenegro photo tour departs from Dubrovnik airport on 15th October. Direct flights from Dublin and London are available. You will then be transported by minibus to our 4-star hotel base in Zabljak. We don’t like to waste any time so we will get out for a sunset shoot immediately on the first day.

We will visit different locations each day always starting with a sunrise shoot (the sun is up at 7.10). Our sunrise locations are all within 20 minutes drive. Some are even closer. After our sunrise shoot, we will return to the hotel for breakfast around 9.30/10am. There will be a 2-hour break for breakfast and a quick nap if you need one. We will then head out again for an afternoon and sunset shoot (5.45pm). Lunch will be informal and eaten amongst the beautiful scenery. Dinner (a set hotel menu) will be served at our hotel at approximately 7.30pm.

After a sunrise shoot on our final day, we will have some breakfast and some time to pack and get ready we will be taken by minibus back to Croatia. We will be staying in the beautiful and historical town of Cavtat in self-catering shared apartments on our last evening of the tour – a chance to unwind and have a good final meal together. The town is located just 8km from Dubrovnik airport. You will be transported from Cavtat to the airport the following day to catch your flight home.
