IPA 1st Place Award – Peter Gordon
We are delighted to announce that Peter has had some really great success at this year’s International Photo Awards (IPA). The IPA awards are one of the most prestigious awards programmess in the world so we’re delighted to hear Peter had a 1st place in his category. The series were captured in Lofoten and Croatia during some pretty serious snow.
There’s an energy to taking pictures as a blizzard tumbles down all around you. Nature feels wild, uncontrolled and free. It feels all-consuming. But from this monochrome world colour emerges reminding us that ‘This too shall pass’. Nothing is permanent.
We are also delighted to announce that a series of Dublin Salt images we’re also successful in the awards program. Dublin Salt was published by Peter in Nov 2018 and explores in intimate detail the coastline of his native Dublin.
