Montenegro Photo Tour Information
Join us in spring 2020 on our brand new Montenegro spring photo tour. Chase the mist in some of Europes most amazing and unphotographed landscapes. Our Spring trip brings a range of new locations and possibilities versus the Autumn adventure and we really feel its well worth a revisit even if you have already been.
Kotor Bay has been added as well as Skadar Lake, plus a range of glacial lakes in Durmitor that only appear during Spring and dry out throughout the summer. Its prime time for mist and we will be chasing those unique perspectives at every chance.
Montenegro has stunning mountains, lakes, forests and gorges. Much of this amazing landscape is largely unphotographed in any serious way so it’s a great opportunity to create something a little bit different. The gorges stretch for kilometers, filled with beautiful deciduous forestry and anchored by hugely impressive 2500 meter peaks. The rivers and glacial lakes are beautifully green and turquoise. We will schedule our Montenegro photography tour for spring colours to maximize your photographic opportunities.
We have gone to great lengths to scout locations and now we are willing to share the fruits of our labour.
Logistics and Our Input
Our Montenegro photo tour departs from Dubrovnik airport on the 13th of May. Direct flights from Dublin and London are available. You will then be transported by minibus to Kotor Bay for 2 nights, then onto our 4-star hotel base in Zabljak for 3. W
We will visit different locations each day always starting with a sunrise shoot. There will be one morning off during the first 5 days to recharge the batteries after the early starts. After our sunrise shoot, we will return to the hotel for breakfast. There will then be some time for downtime, a little sleep or to explore your surroundings a bit more. Lots of walks in stunning Kotor and Zabljak. Our main meal will be taken around 2 followed by afternoon shooting and of course sunset.
After a sunrise shoot on our final day, we will have some breakfast and some time to pack and get ready. We will be taken by minibus back to Croatia. We will be staying in the beautiful and historical town of Cavtat in self-catering shared apartments on our last evening of the tour – a chance to unwind and have a good final meal together.
